Tia Mann, M.S., coordinates recovery support and Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention for College Students (BASICS) for the Gordie Center. Tia has ten years of professional experience in higher education, with eight in the field of substance abuse prevention and early intervention. Her expertise is in motivational interviewing, and has recently joined the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers. Tia started at the Gordie Center in 2016, after serving at James Madison University. She is excited to see BASICS and Hoos in Recovery grow at UVA!
